Greetings from Harry Williams III of the FENGER High School Alumni Association (FHSAA). The FHSAA was established in the year 2011.

The mission of the FHSAA is to ensure that all Fenger students develop higher order thinking skills, peacemaking skills, and leadership abilities in an environment that will prepare them to take advantage of all post-secondary opportunities.

FHSAA works to fulfill our mission by being a fully engaged partner of Fenger Principal Mescha Lammy. We also support Principal Lammy’s vision for Fenger, "to be a racially and culturally diverse community of students, parents, and staff dedicated to creating a peaceful environment where each person is treated with unconditional positive regard and acceptance."

Please participate with us as an active member of FHSAA us:

• Provide below three (3) annual scholarships each year to graduating seniors:

• One for a student pursuing a medical-field related career with the Dr. Christian Fenger award.
• Two (2) – a male and a female – pursuing their education in any post-secondary field with the Titan4Life award.

• Sponsor fundraising activities and make cash and in-kind services donations to both the boys’ and girls’ sports teams to acquire new equipment and uniforms. 
• Sponsor school clubs like BAM (Becoming a Man) and WOW (Working on Womanhood) that facilitate travel to "life enrichment locations" or otherwise to help meet club financial obligations.
• Provide gap funding requested by school administration and teachers for school-sponsored events like High School Investigation Day or the ACT Practice Test.
• Provide “travel vouchers” that allow alumni attending college away from home during that first year who otherwise could not afford to come home for (1) holiday breaks at (1) Thanksgiving and Christmas, and (2) to come home and return after other specificized required breaks. This is just a short list of the ongoing philanthropy that is the FHSAA!
  
  

You are invited to become a dues-paying member of the FHSAA with all its rights and privileges, while at the same time helping to support FENGER for what amounts to about twenty-dollars ($20) a year!
