Greetings from Alumni President Harry Williams (Fenger ’75) of the Fenger High School Alumni Association
(FHSAA), Board of Directors, and its members. I want to inform you about being a Titan4Life. The FHSAA has officially been in existence as a State of Illinois registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit since July 1, 2011. Our purpose is “to support the mission of FENGER ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL mainly through the awarding scholarships to graduating seniors and sponsoring or supporting school activities through various fundraising efforts.” One major source of funding support is from annual membership dues paid to the Association.

We have a fully functional, secure, and encrypted, user-friendly, interactive website for information on all FHSAA membership activities, announcements and notices, annual dues payments, virtual membership cards, an event & activity calendar, a reunion announcement page, meeting correspondence, financial reports, and all official documents. The website allows Titans everywhere to be engaged with our activities by expanding our philanthropy and financial footprint... and we are excited about that!

We hope you decide to become an active member of the FHSAA. With your annual membership dues, and along with donations from corporate sponsors and others:

  • Our major purpose is to provide annual scholarships to graduating seniors either:
  • Pursuing a medical-field related career with the Dr. Christian Fenger award, or
  • Pursuing their education in any post-secondary field with the Titan4Life award.
  • Our goal is to increase our annual scholarship amount each year; we can only do it when Alumni support our efforts, or we get donations. With your support this is made possible.

 

Remember: the cost of your dues is based on your graduating year from 

Fenger Academy High School. Examples:

1951 Fenger Graduate = $19.51 annual dues
2023 Fenger Graduate = $20.23 annual dues


**NOTE:  All Fenger Academy High School Teachers and Principals can pay dues for $19.03 to commemorate the date that Fenger opened the Curtis High School branch.  (See the Fenger History tab at the top of the Home page for more information).

 

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID YOUR ANNUAL DUES FOR 2024 – You have full website access!  You should have received an email from the website with a temporary username and password.  CLICK the Membership Login link in the upper right corner of the site’s Home page, enter the temporary username and password provided.  You can update to any of your choosing.  Remember that full access is ONLY available if your membership is paid in full.  Note:  There may be a brief hold in the registration process for up to 24 hours while your name is verified against the alumni database.

 

To sign up for membership, you have several payment options available to you...


CREDIT CARDS & DEBIT CARDS
Credit cards and debit cards can easily be used through our secure website payment portal for your annual FHSAA  membership dues. This portal can also be used to purchase fundraising event tickets or to make donations to our scholarship funds! Please note that your bank will charge processing fees based on the type of card and amount of your payment for this convenience. American Express card fees are typically higher than Visa, Master Card or Discover card fees. FHSAA does not charge any processing fee and receives no fee from your bank or card provider. 

PAYPAL
You can use PayPal two ways: directly from the secure FHSAA website payment portal, or directly from your PayPal account! If you use the FHSAA website payment portal, PayPal will charge a processing fee for this convenience - even if you select the Friends & Family payment option. Processing a payment directly from your PayPal account will not incur a fee. FHSAA does not charge any processing fee and receives no fee from PayPal. 

ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS
You can avoid the added bank card and processing fees banks charge by making an electronic payment if you have  your Chase Bank account by using Chase Quick Pay or Zelle. Send your electronic payments to our FHSAA email address: fengerhighschoolalumni@gmail.com

PERSONAL CHECKS / MONEY ORDERS / OTHER BANK DRAFTS
If you prefer, you can complete the membership sign-up process through the payment portal, then instead of making any payment through the portal, make out a personal check or money order payable to FHSAA and mail that payment to:

IMPORTANT: Make sure you FULLY complete your Profile page and provide as much information as possible. This is one of the most critical steps in the process to ensure we have a full picture of you and the other members of your class. Profile info is only visible to FHSAA members.


MAILING LIST: The FHSAA also maintains a new Mailing List for non-dues paying alumni, non-graduates, and other friends of Fenger High School. This ensures that you stay connected and engaged... but website access is restricted for each of these non-member categories to the public areas!
